Peter Bartuska, Pastor
Peter was born in Camden, NJ but calls Boca Raton, FL his hometown. He has been married to his wife, Terri, since 1988. Terri is originally from Knoxville, TN but has always "felt led" to the beach. She is a Pediatric Nurse and they have three children - Taylor & her husband Guthrie, Andrew & his wife Anna, and Shelby, her husband Nate & son Tatum.
Peter received his BA in Christian Education/Psychology from Taylor University, M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary. Peter has been working in pastoral ministry since 1990 - Youth Minister at Howell Branch Fellowship in Winter Park, FL 1990-1992, Church Planting Intern at Spanish River Presbyterian Church from 1992-1993, started a church and pastored that same church in Danville, Kentucky from 1993 to 2005, Pastor of Treasure Coast Presbyterian Church from 2006-2010, Stated Clerk of Gulfstream Presbytery from 2006 until 2014.
Peter is an avid runner, water lover, sometimes golfer, always reader, and loves to simply connect with people. Terri is also an avid runner, water lover, and gifted wife and mom. Contact Peter by email.
Marianne Maarsingh, Children's Ministry Director
Marianne grew up in the Netherlands and came to faith as a young girl. Before graduating from the University of Groningen with a BA degree in Psychology, she completed a gap year at the Evangelische Hogeschool, which built her trust in God. Since 2006, Marianne is very happily married to Harm and they have four wonderful daughters. In 2013, the Lord directed them to move from the Netherlands to South Florida, and since then they have enjoyed being part of Christ Community Church. She loves to spend time outside with her family, sip at a hot tea, and be at the ocean.
Marianne has seen God’s goodness and faithfulness in her life, and she feels honored to tell the next generation about Him. At CCC she is committed to teach children of all ages from the Bible, let them be an active part of the Church Family, come alongside parents in the walk of faith, and spend quality time with each other.

Bonnie Sturgis, Director of Community Discipleship
Bonnie grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was drawn to Christ at an early age and was discipled by her family and covenantal church community. Upon graduation from Belhaven University with a degree in Christian Education, she served several Florida churches. It was while she was on staff at Spanish River Church that she met her husband, James. Now, after being married since 1983, they have four grown children and two granddaughters.
Bonnie has been discipling children, youth, and women for over 35 years and is excited about creating opportunities for the body of Christ to grow spiritually so in turn, they can disciple others.
Bonnie loves the ocean, snorkeling, netting fish for their saltwater tank, family walks, family games of tennis, and being a grandma. Contact Bonnie by email.
Tom Lubben, Worship Director/Youth Ministry Leader
Tom Lubben is our Worship Director and Youth Ministry Leader. Tom first served at Bow Down Church in inner-city WPB as an Outreach Leader. Later, he worked as a Team Leader at Urban Youth Impact, teaching & mentoring 5th-8th grade students. He is gifted in playing fiddle, accordion, mandolin, and harmonica and he performs in his family's folk band, The Lubben Brothers. He attributes his love of music and words to the God Who created them, and Who spun stories, songs, and meaning into all things. Tom is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University.
